VeeJet® Flat Spray Nozzles
Depend on Spraying Systems Co. for VeeJet® flat spray nozzles in the widest range of spray angles and capacity sizes. VeeJet nozzles are ideal for applications such as cleaning, rinsing, cooling, pressure washing and surface preparation. Our spraying technology experts can help you customize a nozzle for your specific needs.
Flow
As the liquid exits through the sharp V shape cut of the orifice, it forms into a flat spray pattern. The distribution is tapered from the center of the spray.
MEG Washjet® Nozzles
Washjet nozzles deliver high-impact sprays and operate under high pressure, making them ideal for pressure washing, while their 400-series stainless steel construction ensures an extended wear life. They feature a range of spray angles (0° to 80°) and flow rates (0.27 to 78 gpm), with optional internal guide vanes for stable liquid distribution and a patented design that minimizes turbulence. For enhanced durability, MEG-SSTC nozzles include tungsten carbide orifice inserts, while IMEG® versions are designed for demanding applications.
Flow
As the liquid exits through the rounded U shape of the orifice, it forms into a flat spray pattern. The distribution is even at pressures above 300 psi (20 bar).
“K-Nozzle” FloodJet® Nozzles
FloodJet nozzles are designed for operations requiring wide coverage, featuring a deflected flat fan spray pattern with angles from 73° to 153°. They offer uniform spray distribution from 0.04 to 110 gpm and operate at pressures up to 60 psi, with an orifice designed to minimize clogging and damage. The TEK model ensures a tapered edge spray pattern, eliminating heavy edges while maintaining wide coverage.
Flow
As liquid passes through the nozzle, it hits the deflector surface and spreads out to form a flat spray pattern. The distribution is even from the center of the spray. The deflector surface enables the formation of very wide spray angles compared to other flat spray nozzles.
“P-Nozzle” FlatJet® Nozzles
Flatjet® nozzles deliver higher impact than other narrow-angle nozzles, with a deflected flat fan spray pattern ideal for conveyor cleaning. They offer spray angles from 15° to 50° and uniform distribution from 0.24 to 39 gpm, operating at pressures up to 150 psi.
Flow
As liquid passes through the nozzle, it hits the deflector surface and spreads out to form a flat spray pattern. The distribution is even from the center of the spray. The combination of medium- to large-flow rates and narrow spray angles produce a high impact spray.
Selecting a Nozzle
Pressure washer spray nozzles can be identified by the nozzle “number”, a four- or five-digit number that is stamped on the nozzle, which indicates the spray angle and orifice size.
They do not, however, directly indicate gallons per minute, flow rates or inches in diameter of the orifice. Some power washers come with an adjustable nozzle that is attached to the end of the wand. The fan spray may be adjusted by turning the nozzle. Chemical may also be applied by pulling outward on the nozzle.
